DECLARATION 5: HOPE

We declare that we are in God’s waiting room, anticipating and expecting while we learn the meaning of hope.

We listen with our spirits to the Word of God and we hear the proclamation: “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.”

We declare that hope that is seen is not hope at all.  Instead we are blessed with “unseen hope”, even when we feel stuck or overloaded or when our expectation is delayed.

We declare that we are blessed with continued faith and unmovable hope as gifts from God.  We are also blessed with the understanding that He will never change His mind about us.

We proclaim, “My hope comes from God.  He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.  Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him.”
